1. East London's newest party venue: Lalaland
East London
Parties benefit from variety, there's no doubt. Variety is exactly what East London's new street food market, Lalaland, brings to its central Shoreditch location. Featuring no less than 15 street food vendors, 4 bars, 3 mezzanine lounge bars and a roof terrace, it's hard to find something they won't accommodate.
The folks at Lalaland seem to be trying to evoke L.A., though this boils down to a symbolic palm tree and a waterfall you can easily miss in the crowds of punters. That's not an issue though – it's the food that brings you here. From Bao Buns to tacos, sushi to fried chicken, there's enough quality eating here to bring you back.
The number of spaces Lalaland offers means pretty much any setup. can be accommodated – anything from private booths to whole floors can be hired out. It's definitely a summer venue, but it's covered and warm so there's nothing stopping you from checking it out amongst the drear of winter.
