1. A historic Canary Wharf meeting room: Docklands Boardroom, Museum of London Docklands
Canary Wharf, London
You’ll find this meeting room on the first floor of the Museum of London Docklands site.
With its exposed brick walls, floor-to-ceiling window and large meeting table, it would be easy to assume that it's taken on a nouveau rustic-chic aesthetic that East London favours – but this meeting room is actually sitting on a lot of history.
First opening in the early 18th century, The Museum of London moved across the capital, before opening up The Museum of London Docklands in 2003.
In a sense, it’s almost poetic, looking back on the quarter, and planning ahead, while meeting in such a historic place.
With space for up to 16 team members, it’s a better option for mid-size meetings. Get through the bulk of your agenda with the built-in projector and screen, and if your meeting turns into an all-day affair, day and evening catering options are available.
