A low-cost basement room for no-frills meetings.
The Ashley Cooper room is located in the basement, with doors opening onto the Abbey Centre's courtyard garden. From late Spring to early Autumn, you can throw open the doors and enjoy the fresh air. There's room to accommodate up to 40 delegates, and the room's ultra-low price makes it a smart choice for no-frills meetings, training or conferences.
Named after Anthony Ashley Cooper (later the 7th Earl of Shaftsbury), who was the head of Ragged Schools for decades. He fought against child labour in factories and mines and for improved treatment for people with mental health problems.
We can stay open later/earlier than the hours listed so please message me and we can create a bespoke price for you if so.
--PLEASE NOTE THIS SPACE FEE IS BASED ON A DRY HIRE--
