An English pub with a very long history. We've been around for more than 500 years. In the 1700s the Magpie & Stump was one of the most renowned ‘mughouses’ in London. Back in those days guests would visit for a pint of Two'penny ale (served in their own mug) & a prime view of the hanging outside Newgate Prison. We would even send out a last pint to the condemned man before his execution. We are suitable for workshops, meetings, filming and video production and other off-site events through the day. Please note this is a dry hire. Message me if you want to find out more about F&B options as we have a range to offer you.
