Located at the rear of the venue up a hidden stairwell behind Sager + Wilde’s famous copper-topped bar, lies our showstopping Mezzanine.

Offering views that overlook the entire venue, the mezzanine encapsulates the perfect combination of a totally private space without being cut off from the vibe
taking place in the bar below.

The Mezzanine can host up to 25 seated or standing and is the ideal hosting space for bespoke dinners, celebrations and work wins. It also serves as the
perfect space for private wine tasting experiences.

Sager + Wilde Paradise Row

Sager + Wilde - Hackney Road is our smallest venue with the biggest personality. Being the first site to open up in 2013, this fantastic space is a converted historic British Lion pub built in 1859. The venue benefits from stunning custom made features, including backlit wire wine racks that scale the walls, and the bar countertop that has been built from a cast iron pavement light, strips of which illuminate.

This venue is an ideal space for smaller more intimate celebrations and standing drinks parties of up to 50. We can offer our turntables to spin vinyl all night, or you can use our house Sonos system to stream your own playlists.

At Hackney Road, we are known for our delicious Cheese & Charcuterie platters, and our famous cheese toasties, canapes and bowl food can also be sourced bespoke for private hire.

Sager + Wilde | Exclusive Venue Hire

Hackney is the unrepentant beating heart of trendy London. The locus of the East London scene, the borough has become a byword for everything arty, edgy and, yes, cool. The bars in Hackney don't drop the ball in this sense. If you're wanting to have a few drinks somewhere dimly lit, surrounded by well-planned graffiti and beautiful people dressed all in black, you're in luck.

We've stomped the canalside haunts, trudged up Mare Street and frequented all the dives in Dalston to get an idea of the very best drinking spots in Hackney. Here's our list of the best bars in Hackney.
