The Canvas Cafe is a café and creative venue just off Brick Lane in East London that opened in October 2014.

We're a social enterprise, which means we're not-for-profit, and committed to improving the self esteem and confidence our community - all our events are designed to make you feel happier, and we work alongside our partner charity Body Gossip, to empower everybody to be the best version of themselves.

The Canvas Cafe is a venue for live theatre, music, comedy and cabaret, and we are always happy to hear from performers and companies with creative ideas who would like to use our space.
Our flexible basement space can be used to host conferences, meetings, networking events, training, away days, meet ups, fitness and well being classes, fairs, exhibitions and parties, as well as theatre shows, live music, film screenings and cabaret.
We are licensed until 1am and can provide a variety of catering options, including homemade breakfast and lunch platters, sit down meals, and canapés.
