Tamesis is a converted 1930s Dutch barge, moored permanently between Lambeth and Vauxhall Bridge and now used as a floating pub, live music and events space.

Thank you for considering the Battersea Barge for your event. Please fill out the form on this page to enquire about hiring.
The Barge is a former 1930s converted Dutch grain barge. The Barge operates as a pub with food and drink and a space to hire for a variety of events including weddings, meetings, parties, live music, theatre, comedy and cabaret, having hosted the first London Cabaret Awards.
The most popular space to hire is the lower deck (LDH). This includes exclusive use of the stage area and audience space. If you intend to host a performance, we have a dressing room.
The LDH can comfortably seat 75 people and more at a squeeze. The whole boat’s capacity is 150 and it is also available for exclusive hire.
The space is available to hire from 10am up to 11.30pm, with last orders at 10.30pm from Sunday to Thursday (departure by 11) and an extra half an hour on Friday and Saturday.
