The Factory Covent Garden is London’s premium photographic studio in the heart of the vibrant theatre district of London’s West End. The Factory is owned and run by photographers, creatives and musicians who use the studio as a hub for different projects that have a worldwide audience. We are located a stones throw from Leicester Square tube and have 1100 square foot of studio space with a 30 strong team of Make Up Artists, Photographers, Stylists, Editors and Videographers.
The building and street are steeped in history and have been home to an impressive array of names from Wedgewood to The Photographers Gallery. The Art's Theatre itself was first opened in 1927 as a members-only club for the performance of unlicensed plays, thus avoiding theatre censorship by the Lord Chamberlain's office.
Great Newport Street has inexplicably attracted people of the arts from as early as 1722, from acting, poetry, sculpture, pottery and of course photography, this street continues to draw and inspire artists to this day.
The Factory Team have over 25 years of experience in the industry. Our Photographers have worked with the likes of NBC Universal, James Long, Vogue online, Circus Records and regularly cover the major festivals throughout the UK and abroad. Creative Director Patrick Marks is actively working in the fashion industry and has taken a wide range of portraits for celebrities, actors and musicians working with big name brands as well as regularly shooting for the Evening Standard, London’s Oldest Newspaper.
Our Make Up Artists work in a variety of industries including TV, film and advertising with global brands such as Addidas, Levis, L’Oreal, Schwarzkopf and clients who include Will.I.Am and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Above all, our team are down to earth, approachable and will be sure to put you at ease so you get the best results.
