A grade 1 listed unique pub. Originally traded as a bank from 1888 to 1972. The Old Bank still has the original vaults that were used to store some of the crown jewels during the first world war. During the second world war , Norwegian gold was held at The Old Bank. Now we have three stunning chandeliers hanging from our glamorously decorated ceiling, that greet you as you walk in. Also allegedly, The Demon Barber of Fleet St, Sweeney Todd lived on one side of the pub and his mistress Miss Lovett lived on the other side. Allegedly !!
