At the heart of the museum, you will find the original almshouse chapel, a beautiful, high-ceiling space complete with wooden pews and pulpit. Almshouse residents were obliged to attend services here each week.
The two Reading Rooms off the Chapel provide additional space for receptions or private dining offering very different atmospheres, one space with panoramic views of the gardens and the other, a beautifully restored paneled library with multiple fireplaces.
The spaces are ideal for pre-dinner drinks in the Chapel before dining in the Reading Room or for mid sized drinks receptions.
