Situated on Southwark Street in the trendy Borough Market area, just a stone’s throw from London Bridge Station, The Hop Exchange is a Grade II listed building offering a versatile blank canvas for events.
Opened in 1867 and designed by R.H. Moore it served as the centre for hop trading for the brewing industry. A fire in 1920 led to the top two storeys being removed and the Hop Exchange was then converted into offices.
The Atrium offers 12m x 24m of space waiting to be transformed, and is perfect for parties, receptions, dinner dances, fashion shows, product launches and more. Natural daylight floods through the glass roof allowing summer parties to take advantage of beautiful sunsets and winter events are given a starlit cover.
The Hop Exchange is available to hire for evening functions only, due to the building being in use as offices during the day. As a dry hire venue all equipment, furniture and production is hired in, giving you the opportunity to completely tailor make your event.
Please note this space is available from 17.30 - 23.00pm exclusively. Please select full day hire.
