Originally the Library’s reading room, this is a versatile space full of natural light. The space is ideal for examinations as well as training days, exhibitions and networking lunches. It can be easily divided with partitions for breakout sessions.

Rosebery & Townsend rooms
Located on the first floor by the Boardroom, these two meetings rooms are perfect for smaller or more informal meetings and breakout sessions.

Room 3 & Room 4

Situated on the lower ground floor, both of these rooms are ideal for breakout and team building sessions. With their sprung wooden floors, air cooling systems, CD players and sound proofing, these spaces are ideal for dance rehearsals as well as creative workshops. Please note that we cannot accomodate classes that might conflict with the Bishopsgate Institute's activities. These spaces are only available for rehearsals, not classes or workshops.

The rooms are located next-door to one another, opposite to the Courtyard Room and make excellent breakout areas if hired together

The Violent Bear It Away

230 Bishopsgate

The Courtyard Room is a professional meeting and workshop space, and benefits from its own private patio. This room is ideal for presentations and training sessions.

A large interactive 70’’ whiteboard monitor can be used for PowerPoint presentations, viewing and navigating the internet, screening films and more.

Located on the first floor by the Boardroom, these two meetings rooms are perfect for smaller or more informal meetings and breakout sessions.

This room can host 16 for a boardroom-style meeting. The original Victorian features include a high ornate ceiling and fireplace making it the ideal venue for smaller meetings and training sessions.

Fame Is the Spur

The Victorian Library is available for evening and weekend hire. This splendid and historic space is ideal for more refined affairs, evening receptions, photo or film shoots and any other events that require a more unusual setting.
The Library consists of either one or two separate spaces that can host up to 80 guests each.

The main Library still features much of the original Victorian furniture (including carved wooden bookcases and wrought iron lamps) and holds an impressive and rare collection of books and pamphlets about the history of London. The main feature in this room is the stunning dome skylight.

The second half of the room is furnished in a more contemporary style and can be hired separately from the main space.

Please note: The furniture and displays in this room are fixed.

Pale Kings and Princes

A fully equipped conference space, the Great Hall boasts many beautiful design features, such as an original glass lantern in the ceiling and detailed plaster mouldings throughout. Our clients use the space for a variety of purposes from conferences, launches and AGMs to fashion shows.
