This means bartenders fly free-form, personalizing each drink based on each guest’s whims. Craving something light and refreshing with a gin and citrus twist, but not too sweet? They've got you. Feeling adventurous but tend to lean toward whiskey with a hint of spice? They'll take care of that, too. Whatever your mood, Attaboy's expert mixologists deliver a personalized cocktail experience that never disappoints. I would recommend it for cocktail enthusiasts seeking an exclusive and unique experience.

Attaboy thrives on spontaneity, which extends to their seating—no reservations here, so be prepared to wait in line for a spot. However, if you're planning a private event, they offer bookings for groups of up to 25 guests but make sure to secure your spot well in advance.

Step into a hidden world at The Back Room, one of the only two speakeasies in New York City that still operates from its original Prohibition-era location. Enter through the same secret passage used nearly a century ago, and find yourself surrounded by vintage 1920s charm, complete with dim lighting, plush velvet seats, and rich period decor. In a nod to its clandestine past, every drink is served in teacups, just as it was during the days of Prohibition.

For groups of 5 or more, you’ll need to make a reservation, but walk-in groups of all sizes are also welcome.

This vibey spot is loved by New Yorkers and visiting out-of-towners alike. Subject is a cozy and mellow cocktail spot in the Lower East Side. In a neighborhood filled with bars where people go to see and be seen, it’s a breath of fresh air. The focus here is truly on the menu: the cocktails are crafted with premium ice and frequently incorporate fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu is rounded out with a wide selection of spirits, distinctive wines, and small-batch beers.

Their menu offers a variety of classic and seasonally-specific cocktails. For food, the choices are simple yet satisfying: popcorn and hot dogs. Subject can accommodate private events of up to 65 people, though fully private buyouts are not available on weekends.
