The original Vestry Hall of the building, the Council Chamber, is one of the most architecturally significant spaces in the building. The windows which cast a beautiful diffused light into the space still contain the original stained glass panels illustrating the borough crest and motto ‘More Light, More Power’.
Characterised by its beautiful ornate moulded ceiling, classical columns and original wood floor it is ideal for receptions, conferences, rehearsals and meetings, and responds particularly well to creative lighting and dressing.
