Just like the beers, The Brew-Shed is a space that’s been evolving ever since CRATE opened. What once contained old office furniture now houses a brew kit with all the mysterious bells and whistles that help make delicious beer. During the day you’ll find the CRATE team working their magic, but the evening casts a different spell as our events team transform it into a multi-purpose venue.
Situated on the other side of the yard, the Brew-Shed is a stone’s throw from the action of our bar and pizzeria. In typical Hackney Wick style, the converted warehouse’s design is eclectic and industrial. Guests are surrounded by raw brickwork, ageing wooden panels, shiny brew tanks, and all the ingredients used to make the entire CRATE range of beers. The venue has a fully operational commercial kitchen, onsite toilet facilities, and a capacity of 100 seated or 150 standing guests. Depending on the nature of the event, guests can enjoy freshly brewed beer that has literally never left the brewery, making any sort of corporate function or private party a special experience to remember. The Brew-Shed has hosted birthday and Halloween parties, weddings, beer tastings, and live screenings of sports events.
